So today a few of the film students said they were going to the beach to work on a project. I decided to tag along. We got off at the wrong stop and ended up at a beach, but not the one printed on our round trip tickets. It was a cloudy, drizzly day. Bye! Bye! Beach!
I felt like a child. I wanted to play in the water. Get dirty. I even brought home some sea shells (including the kind you can buy at gift shops for a lot of money!). The film kids kept yelling "move! you're in the shot". Sure it was cold, people were frustrated. But it was beautiful. I don't know why. I kept thinking how I wanted to have a friend there with me. Someone who I could run in the water with. Someone who I could explore sea shells with. Someone who wanted to be a kid with me. That should teach me to go "play" with the film kids. They only know how to work. They kept saying "you are a weird one". Made me feel right at home! Its ok, tomorrow night I have a classy dinner at TGI Friday's with my favorite people (aka not in my program and WEIRD).
