Oh dear god! Don't ever vacation with your in-laws when said in-laws do not get along with their own son! I'm so fucking tired of her bitching and whining that it's not really been a vacation but rather a family fude the entire time. Tomorrow I get to leave them here and we go off to New York alone. Perhaps some time away will calm her down so that everytime she sees me she doesn't scowl. Honestly, it's not my fault that she can't stand her own mother and that she and her son are too stubborn to see eye to eye. Sigh, I almost can't wait to get back home to have some peace and quiet. Next time I'm going to suggest that we go somewhere where we know no-one.
