Shopping with Sarah and Batman Begins (again!)

This weekend was awesome! I had a lot of fun and I also got some relaxing done.

On Saturday, I woke up at 9, which is really weird for me because I usually wake up at 11 or 12. Ah well. I still got a ton of sleep. I watched a few of the featurettes on my LOST dvd ( where I discovered "Locke and the Orange" LOL) and I took a shower before dad got home from work. My blow dryer broke, so I had to go next door and borrow Andy's. My hair turned out REALLY curly, so I didn't bother brushing it because I thought it looked nice. When dad got home, he took Sarah and I to the mall. However, we got there an hour later than planned because Ed delayed us by making last minute plans with Josh. He had to take a shower and everything, so I wasn't very happy. But we eventually got there. This is off-topic, but I wore an outfit to the mall that was actually inspired by Evangelline Lilly. In Lost, she wears a tan tank top over a white one, so I did the same thing and I got compliments from both my mom and Sarah's mom. Yay! My mom thought that I had bought a new outfit. Haha. It put a new spin on my clothing and my necklace actually matched! *gasp* I was so proud of myself... :)

So, Sarah and I had a blast at the mall. In Hot Topic, Sarah bought the red version of my Batman shirt, so we're going to wear them to the movies on Saturday. Woot woot! Show the Batman pride! We also went in the new dollar store that just opened and it's really awesome! I bought some nail polish (since I can't seem to find any of mine) and Sarah got all sorts of jewelry. After that, we took a trip to Payless, where we bumped into Morgan and one of her friends. How ironic! We talked for awhile, and it was a pleasant surprise to see her. She also said that she could come to my party on Saturday. We also went to the candle store, where we sniffed all sorts of oddly scented candles (including mashed potatoes! weird!). Then, we went to Icing because they were having one of their 10 for 5 sales. We both found some charms for our Link charm bracelets, and Sarah found all sorts of other stuff as usual. At one point, I found this awesome guitar-pick necklace that has a little guitar in the middle of it, and it totally reminded me of her. So, I showed it to her and she freaked out and hugged me, because she saw someone at school wearing one and she really loved it. lol...

We did a bit more shopping before I called my dad to pick us up, and he took Sarah home. When I got home, we ordered some pizza and then ate really quickly before mom, dad, and I headed off to see Batman Begins at the cheap theatre. Ed wasn't home, because he was still at Josh's. Just like the other 2 times I saw it, it was amazing. I love that movie! My dad liked it (it was his first time seeing it) but he thought that the ending was a bit too far-fetched with the evaporating water supply and all. Ah, well. You can't please them all. It's so nice that I still get to do things with my parents, though. I love them so much!

Today, I went to Joanne fabrics with mom and we bought a ton of paint for my ceramics (they were only 50 cents a piece! what a steal!). I Saw Katie Turner up there (she was buying a scrapbook for her England pictures) so we talked for a long time. It was funny, because I told her how I think Batman is "hot" and she made fun of me. Hehe. My mom was also cracking her up. I gave her my number so we could hang out some time. I also found the most wickedly awesome and amusing things at Joannes! They're Batman suckers that light up! You press a little button, and the Bat Signal is projected through the bottom! They were a buck a piece, so I bought one for myself (naturally) Ed and everyone who's coming to my party. I thought it would be fun to flash them in the theatre! Being a dork rocks!

When I got home, I starting working on the little ceramic fox that I bought and it's going pretty well so far. The eyes are hard, though! I also painted my nails for the first time in 2 years. Go me! Other than that, not too much else happened. I can't wait until next Saturday!
