i got an IM from Joanna tonite, my cousin's wife-- they had their first baby, which is so exciting! i wish them all the best, and send lots of love to lil Felicity.
I really wish i could simply enjoy this event with them, and celebrate a new addition to the world-- but no, my mother's malice or general dumbass BITCHERY triumphs again. Little Felicity was born Oct 8th-- today is the 19th, and i just found out today. almost TWO WEEKS later! why? certainly not cuz chuck and joey weren't calling people! they expected my dear mother to pass along the news, as they now have a little baby to tend to, and calling everyone on the planet isn't quite a priority.
that stupid bitch expects ME to jump for family occasions, and to respect her and her stupid opinions and ideas and the fact that she's my MOTHER.... and yet she does things like this? FUCK THAT. she lost my respect a long time ago, and things like this serve only to make me glad i'm in Boston and that fuckall mess of a family is 3 states away. please read this and be glad of your happy families-- cuz no matter how much you bicker with your parents, they actually do CARE.
i'm also wicked pissed that i'm so upset about all this, when i should be ecstatic that joey and chuck have a new little one. i need an airplane fund to start so i can go visit and give them all big hugs...
