*GASP* okay, i can breathe now!
wheeeeeeeeeee! so, before Homecoming weekend, i worked a week and a half straight out, no time off, and the monday after Homecoming began with 3 16 hour days, with the next day off the FOLLOWING monday.... so yes, i am an idiot, and i have a crazy work life. probably safe to say my life IS work, but hey, at least i'm having fun! i've been feelin really good these days, and i kinda like bein so busy. maybe it's the lovely new england weather, who knows. some fun and mundane things, cuz i'm wicked boring now:
i have red red streaks of hair at my temples now, and i really like em, as weird as it is.
i have fresh apple cider, crisp apples, and apple cinnamon doughnuts from a farm almost in New Hampshire. Tux had his head out the window the whole drive, and it was a GORGEOUS day.
i'm getting pretty damn good at teaching, these days, and i'm starting to like it more.
i gave Tux a bath yesterday, so he's all fluffy and the apartment smells like shampoo. and there is nothing funnier than this poor dog in the tub covered in suds, i'm telling you.
Homecoming fun: you know who your real friends are, cuz you can sit down with them after not seein em for a year or so and be joking and silly like nothing ever happened. it was fabulous to see people again, and Collin's mass ticket block thing was very cool-- i got to watch the game with lots of ppl i wouldn'tve otherwise hung out with much. despite me dressing feminine and grown up for work these days, the tomboy prevails-- at Tully's, i moved from the end of the table with all the girls to the end with anthony, jayme, BH, and JBren, and had much more fun, despite confusing the crap out of the waitress. apparently i should be a boy? who knows. good times were had by all.
except Lauren Piccolo, cuz i accidentally locked her keys in her car at 3am friday nite. oops. but triple A to the rescue, and all was well! sheesh. :)
