it's a lazy saturday morning for me... i don't have to be at work till 10, and i only go to one job today! so i'm making coffee and sticky buns and hanging out in PJs for a while. i have the weirdest balancing act ever, with these three jobs, and i kinda like it... but then, the teaching hasnt started yet. we'll see. thanks to being friendly with the managers (one of whom being Rob, who got promoted, that sucker) i can do whatever i want, within reason, to my Depot hours. it's kinda nice.
this new job at Packard's Kitchens is gonna be a VERY good thing. i'm getting sent to kitchen training up the wazoo, she gives me tips and help and doesn't mind a million questions, i get along with everyone-- and i got a TV! the funniest thing, of couse conversation always turns to a TV show at some point, and i have to explain how i don't have one, cuz i'm in the dark. my boss says, follow me home after work, i have one you can have. it was the old showroom TV, and it got replaced cuz it only has a VCR in it, no DVD. who cares?! it's a TV, and she's just said HERE. :) it's very cool, i'm excited. i can't wait till i start selling some stuff, she's said she'll buy me a laptop so i can work wherever if my sales warrant it. :) we likes this job!
sorry the only thing i talk about is work, but hey, what else do i have at the moment? although i do end up hanging out at "the Kobe House" which is a post-college version of 829. haha, and they're all in a band, too! hardcore music, marching band, eh, close enough...
i did go downtown to hang out with Jayme and BH when they were in town, which was very cool.. also saw Jimmy Hallock, and Lauren Piccolo, locals that i don't hang out with much. but yeah, good time was had by all-- and i'm now allowed to go into the city by myself, since i now know how to drive to Oak Grove and hop the T. :) woot bein a big kid!
