There were a couple of great highlights to my weekend. One of which was a great conversation where we were both talking about something different. Thank you Larry for a great time. Thanks for being so charming and for having the nerve to try and steal Nadetta now that Archie’s gone.
I think I’m negotiating what I’ll get by joining Toby’s tradition. I finally decide that what I get out of it is worth giving him bragging right of having Archie’s wife in his tradition. I can only imagine the disappointment of thinking he had her, then realizing he only sort of had her. Of course he was kind enough to explain to her that he was trying to offer her something more. This shocked her. She was stunned enough to agree to discuss the subject at a later date. Although she should have expected something like that, she is still grieving and that was the furthest thing from her mind.
Now, as I’m trying to write my update, I find myself greatly amused. It’s one thing to join a tradition. It’s another thing to let herself be used so Toby can say he now has every that used to belong to Archie. I hope we get to hash this out, now that she realizes what he wanted. I do love the drama.
