Wheeeeeee!

I bought this 700+ page behemoth yesterday afternoon at Target & finished it this morning.

Oh man, what a refreshing read this is, because unlike another author of the vampire "romance" genre, it's not all about the main character's repeated sexual escapades.

Yeah, there's sex in the book, but most of it is not all in gory details that go

It's interesting - pure pop fiction, but fun. :)

I like the author because she's kept herself grounded in reality and her books have remained good and well-edited despite the fame.

Unlike the local Drahma Queen Vampire Mary Sue Crotch of Doom author who's best known by her 3 initials.....

Ms. Kenyon doesn't complain about how "hard" her life is and go for the total TMI factor in her rare blog entries - she's much too busy for that. She's got 3 book series she's working on and 3 boys to raise. *laugh*

Her books contain a lot of humor and makes fun of herself and her characters in the stories. :) If you haven't read her stuff before, go to a used bookstore or library and see if you can locate Fantasy Lover which is the start to the whole Dark Hunter series.

Her books are fun reads. :)
