Master of Epic

At glitteringloke's suggestion, I watched the first episode of Master of Epic last night. Apparently, it's an anime about the RPG game and Inoue-san voices quite a few of the male characters. Of all of his characters, though, my favorite is Rono, an elf warrior in armor ( Read more... )

Rono does come back, sometime after ep 7, i think? i don't think we've subbed that yet, so it'd be after 7.

the waragecha never go away. they're one of the few things that have storyline. ok the only thing that does. i <3 waragecha black XD

we've never played the game either, but it really makes fun of a lot of things you can do in an MMORPG. wait till you meet chuu and bukutsu. i LOVE those two, even if heika's not involved. the m-panda is just full of hilarity (like rosario XDDDDDDD OMG LOL)

I'm looking forward to that episode! *mourns the lack of Rono*

Ah... The Waragecha. They're all so... bright and cute. It's overwhelming...

And I just finished watching episode 2 (the episode your icon comes from, actually) and I felt so bad for Phillip. Getting beat up all the time and led around by the worst captain ever... *snuggles him*

"Shiouzo-taichou!"
"hai philip-taiin?"

I hope there's enough seeds for you to dl, i don't think my torrent thing is running at home.

and if you pay attention, you'll see where i learn technical abilities XD (clue: during hte "MoE people about town" skits)

Don't worry. I haven't had any problems downloading so far, but I'll let you know if I do.

And, this may be a little off topic, but do you prefer subbing Master of Epic over Kyou Kara Maou, or vice versa? Is there one that's more "difficult" than the other, because of certain words and ideas that are only exclusive to that one series? (Ah... does my question even make any sense...?)

well, i don't do the translating, but on the technical aspect alone, MoE is more challanging because of the on screen text word movement. with KKM i just have to make sure dialogue matches ( ... )

That's why I've never really bothered with subtitles before, because a lot of the other groups care more about getting it out fast than actually taking the time make sure the dialogue is accurate. (Like the recent Natsume Yuujin Chou episode, the crappy subtitles almost completely ruined the mood for me!) So, don't worry about a thing! I'm sure there's quite a number of people out there who appreciate your subs. :3

what group do you get the natsume subs from?

And at least in the KKM coms, ours is the underappreciated group, and looking at our sharing numbers, it kinda shows too :/

i went through 3 groups for tales of the abyss before i found one that had the right names XD

I'm not sure what group it is, because I found it on youtube (it's here) but I only watched it because I couldn't find the raw in high quality. D8 It was awful, though. Really awful. I should try looking for the raw again...

ugh, youtube at work blocked T_T

the group i dl from is BSS, and not that i notice how accurate they are, at least the grammar and spelling isn't painful.

tokyotosho has raws for almost anything :D

My computer has problems downloading from torrent a lot of the time, so I try to use a direct download if I can. Youtube is easier though, but no one has uploaded the raw yet for both episode 7 and 8, which are the only episodes I really want. D;

And I think the group is called Crunchyroll or something?

crunchyroll is a streaming site, like youtube that's permitted to have natsume a week after it airs, i think (unless you pay them for service, then you get it like, 24 hours later) tho i think there's a group calling themselves crustyroll that does speedsubs of crunchyroll permitted shows.
