I think the word "pandemic" has become much like the phrase "theory of evolution". People just don't really understand what the term means, and flip out whenever it's thrown around. And that's the real problem: it gets thrown around. It gets thrown around with no regard for its meaning and those that throw it around do nothing to fix the problem. ( Read more... )
