In a mood for a rant
As the topic states, am feeling in a mood to rant about people in general, specifically pathetic people, its behind a cut for those who honestly don't care
Has anyone ever noticed as of late that it seems that the number of pathetic people who feel a need to blantantly ask to chat (more like cyber with honestly) has been increasing as of late? I am betting a major cause of it is the fact that web cams cost so little that any moron can buy one now.
I am sick and tired of people IMing me calling me cutey and asking if I want to chat. I don't cyber, and even if I did, I wouldn't do it with some pathetic person who invaded my privacy by grabbing my IM address without my permission.
Chances are, I am going to be taking my IM ids off my LJ profile, as I imagine that is where these losers are getting them from. If anyone honestly doesn't already have me on their contact lists, I will be glad to give my id via mIRC or e-mail.
I also am fed up with the fact that yahoo games have pretty much turned into a gathering for pathetic people to advertise to. Most of the time I am in there, I either see pathetic people asking for someone to chat with them, or advertisments for gambling. My view is, if I wanted to cyber, I would be talking to my boyfriend about it. If I was single, I would go to adult chats if I wanted to cyber that damn badly. As it is, my yahoo profile doesn't have a real name, or a real picture, in fact I think I have a manga style pic of Emeraude from Magic Knight Rayearth in it.
And oddly enough, its not the men that are the most pathetic in there, its the women. And honestly, I don't get it, because almost any girl can get laid, well as long as she's not so fat that she can't get off the couch.
I can deal with the excessive spam honestly, pushing the delete button a few times isn't going to bother me, but IMing me out of the blue when I do not know you really strikes me as an invasion of privacy. And obnoxious posts in a chat basically all but asking for cyber buddies in a non-adult, non-singles chat is uncalled for.
Anyway, time to get off the soap box about pathetic people, I am sure it will never get better, will only get worse, but hopefully removing my IM ids from my LJ profile will stop the invasions of privacy I commonly get.
