It is official. I move in tomorrow. I am not completely finished with the painting but its close enough to lay the carpet tomorrow morning. I am very excited about my new place but also a bit intimidated. I met a new friend. So, it won't be quite so lonely as I thought. I met the new neighbor next door, that just moved in also. He is about my age, and is very familiar with the area. We went for a walk Friday night (I didn't even know I lived a block away from a river!!!) after I helped teach him a few tricks with painting trim (tape isn't good, no no no tape...boundries with paint are just wrong) and he bought me some pizza. MMM pizza....
I must say that so much has been going on tonight that I have been side tracked from writing here. There has been so much going on with my ex these past few days, that I have been just trying to keep my head above water. That is why I had to get a new email address. I really do not want to talk about that stuff on here right now. I am a little embarassed about the whole mess. What was I thinking?
I miss my C so much right now. I just would just light up if I could talk to him. More often than not seems to be our norm. Lately, I guess we have both been so busy that we miss each other. I will have to look into using the library computer. Because I am not going to have any time to organize the internet situation for some time I fear.
I am at Amy's tonight. I just got in a few hours ago. I had a great weekend. Very productive with the apartment...thanks especially to my friend Jarod. Him and my new neighbor were like two peas in a pod! Very annoying but sweet as pie. Like, I am as sarcastic as can be but there is a limit to sarcasim with me, it becomes annoying very quickly. They were cute tho, all boyish and clowning around.
Jarod and I ended up going out Sat. night and watched a show, really good band! I will have to post more about them later...Bobaflex. They are brand spanking new, from Ohio and they sound like a cross between Stained and Deftones. The lead singer flung beer all over my (ofcourse) white t-shirt...great fun!
Oh and I met Jarod's family. His oldest sister and brother-n-law took us out on the town Sat. night and Jarod was so trashed we stayed the night. I crashed on the couch ofcourse. Still not interested in Jarod, kinda wish I was tho cause he is a sweet guy. Actually, I met two of his sisters, the brother-n-law, and four kids. They are all simply adorable. I cooked chinese (yet they are spanish) with his sisters while the boys were taking a nap. I got a 4 month old baby all to myself, practically all day today. The other three children were about Austin's age (4,5, & 8) I can't wait for Austin to meet them. They were all so cutely CLINGING to me, I mean I had the boys on my lap...a baby on one knee, the 4 year old on the other and the two girls right under my arms. Shania is the oldest, I was a little overwhelmed with her because she kept saying I wish you were my mommy. OMG I almost cried. But, I was too hung over for that!
It made me miss Austin terribly being around other children. I can't wait to see him on Friday, and show off our new house to him. I hope he likes it! I want to have his room all set up for him like a big surprise.
I am about to pass out on the keyboard. I will write more in the morning. I have to move heavy things like furniture tomorrow....yuck. I am already so sore from all the activity in the past few days. Painting is exhasting but then so is drinking!
