Hmm. I don't think I'm going to renew my paid LJ account. If I start using it again I definitely will, but honestly I just have to to leave comments on other people's stuff and occasionally vent sometimes. I think it's time to let go of all my American Idol icons and just have a couple generic ones. I'm completely detached from that fandom now, even though I still have so many fond memories. Being an adult makes it too hard to be involved in a fandom like I used to be. Like, I can get on tumblr real quick and reblog some things and peace out. LJ is more involved. And I honestly miss that, having a community, but I can't even pretend like I am consistent or reliable enough to get involved with anything here anymore. I'm certainly going to keep my journal because I've had it for 10 years. I've honestly poured a piece of my soul into this journal. It's my horcrux. And it is my precioussss. Almost like my '67 Chevy Impala chock full of memories. And I just made three dork references rapid fire, sorry.
