bits and bobs...
One of my neighbors made the coolest thing. He took a 3 foot section of 3 inch diameter PVC pipe, capped one end, drilled a line of holes along the top and capped the other end with an attachment for a propane tank. Sets it on the floor, puts his stereo speaker right up against the plain capped end, plugs the propane into the other end and turns it on. Turns the bass up on his stereo and lights the propane coming out of the drilled holes. The flame then jumps and dances along with the bass.
SO FUCKING COOL. Music and flame, two of my favorites.
In other news, I do believe I have found the material for my next gown. Not sure of the style, beyond Elizabethan, but check this out. Gown fabric here and sleeve/forepart fabric here. Try not to drool too much. Isn't it loverly?
