I want to re-create myself...
I am a bookkeeper, in all the senses of the word and the colloquialism. Almost as dull as a librarian, me, but I work with numbers all day so that gives me an edge with the problem-solving skills. I play Dungeons and Dragons, I attend medieval re-enactment events, I perform arcane, antiquated, and obscure arts and crafts, and I'm a die-hard, hard-core, science fiction/fantasy fangirl. I even knit (enough to have gotten tendonitis from it). I'm short, dumpy, and a mousy brunette.
What I WANT to be is a jet-setting professional, 6-figure income bombshell... keeping the brunette, of course, 'cause brunettes really are smarter. :^)
So, how do I marry my knowledge and skills with my desires? I think I have an idea. I could get my MBA and apply for an internal auditor position with the company I currently work for. Internal auditors fly around spending a week or two at my company's various resorts around the world auditing their finances and processes. I'd get to go EVERYwhere!
Or, I could become a flight attendent. Still haven't decided, yet.
