So Wednesday, I made a financial executive decision to pull a double. Now, for those of you that have never worked in the service industry....that means, 2 shifts back to back...open to close, upwards of 16 hours. I worked from 10am until 3am. We closed at 1am....we had a corporate inspection Thursday morning, so there was much cleaning to do. Jim even came up and helped me! I made decent money, but I was stuck standing behind the bar all day...so my legs started to shut down around midnight....I slept until like 3pm the next day after having been up till like 5...You just cant fall asleep right away after working like that. Its just impossible!!
But in good news, I got a great call from a friend with some personal news that I cannot share as of yet....certain people do not know yet, and therefore I have to be vague. AND I got an email from a job that I was waiting on. Well, I had given up waiting to be honest. Its the one for the Sprout Fund...if that rings a bell with anyone. I apparently made it thru the first round of over 200 resumes...so thats a great sign! We shall see what comes of it...I'll keep you all posted!
