well mission accomplished. there was a stray cat hanging around the house. and being that we all hate cats, we tried everything to annoy the stupid beast, but to no avail. then i decided to throw it in the pool...3 times. haven't seen the cat since.
last night went alright. i really enjoy rob bell. i would like to visit his church. and i think we should book him. i love pretty much anything i've ever heard him say. anyway, he said a couple things in the video we watched last night that i found particularly interesting.
one, was a quote from paul in galations:
"don't be misled, no one makes a fool out of God"
and the second was:
"sometimes it's easier just to run upstairs and hide, rather than face the truth"
wow. that was all i could think. and i chuckled a little too because... wow.
