Happy New Year!
*points at timestamp* It's not 5am. It's 3am. And that makes it all right.

I'm not terribly coherent at this hour, so I'll just have a quick ramble ... WA is gorgeous, of course; absolutely loving the weather (not a day under 30 degrees so far - whereas Hobart had snow on the mountain on Christmas! I swear I'd have set fire to something). And oh, the joy of T-shirts. I had forgotten this marvellous garment existed.
I've caught a rotten cold but I don't care (could be worse - poor sister picked it up first on *Christmas Eve* from sickies in hospital). Have seen my ocean again - luckily no-one's stolen it without me looking. Had a lovely Christmas. And got to ignore a passing New Year without any dramas, so perhaps that hoodoo is finally broken ...
Hope you all passed a similarly hoodoo-free New Year's Eve, and perhaps even had fun - it happens sometimes, I hear. ;) I doubt I'll be dropping in again before the 8th (date has changed to help sister move ... new apartmentage) so take care and have fun until then, poppets!
One last thing - I've skimmed through my flist at lightning speed tonight (commentless, sorry), but I may miss things on good ol' dialup back home. If there's something you'd like me to read and I haven't mentioned it below, could you let me know? Three of these things were actually supposed to get read with the rest while I was waiting for the plane, but I kept getting ... interrupted \:P
