I think I may have an ulcer. No, really. I should probably see a doctor about that….
Had wanted to post something to opy100 yesterday, but that didn’t happen. Oh well. Maybe zosopp has a chance, yet. Though with current events? I doubt it.
There’s way too much going on right now, and most of it is causing STRESS. It doesn’t just get one capital letter, it’s that special. At least close-week will be over soon, and with luck, Missy will be back from medical leave, and I can ignore the office politics again. Managed to get a couple things that had been hanging heavily over my head recently out of the way, too, last night, so that should make it a little better, right? Eh. We’ll see.
I have one hell of a busy weekend coming; unfortunately, I still have lots of money info to track down, and all of two days to do it. It’s galling that I have to call Ameriprize Amerisuck today. They didn’t send me anything that I needed for my taxes, and we’re going through the long and onerous dance that is filing with the government this weekend. [Oh, I can’t wait; there’s ALL kinds of crap we have to deal with now that we 1) bought the house, and 2) aren’t married yet. Oh joy and rapture.] In any case, I had hoped never to have to deal with them again (amerisuck), but it seems I’ll be forced to pull teeth try to coerce them into cooperating with me at least one more time. That’s always a pleasant encounter. ¬_¬
Oh well. At least I’ve got a little good news, there. Got a form letter from my company saying that we no longer had our 401k services provided by them (amerisuck), so I can finally apply for one- because I was NOT going to have anything more to do with that company if I had any say in the matter, no matter how much I wanted to take advantage of the ‘free money’ company match.
Now, if only I could focus on my work today, I might get somewhere. At least I went out for break today; that helped a little. And it was heartening to see new buds on the tree across the street…
