I have just spent a while trawling through WoW sites for info on the next expansion, the better to inform my guild.

So, I DLed the Second Life client, with the intention of having a look. I quite like the interface and the style of the game; the graphics are far from perfect, but it's leagues ahead of the other free MMOs I've seen.

It's just a shame that it's a) so laggy as to be unplayable, and b) very hard to navigate and view.

I'm actually enjoying the game a hell of a lot more at 70. Flying mounts, instances, the ramping up to endgame, and no more pressure to level = happy Eleanor.
