That's just plain creepy. And all kinds of wrong. I mean, I'm all for people having the right to raise their own children with their own beliefs, but I most fervently advocate the parents' duty to teach their children how to think critically, ask questions and form their own opinion.

The Pope... It's difficult being tolerant when it comes to the Pope. Only the knowledge that he's really the Emperor from Star Wars gives me a meagre amount of comfort.

Mir ist es kalt den Rücken runtergelaufen als die Pastorin in die Kindermenge schrie: Wer würde für Jesus sein Leben geben? und alle die Arme hochrissen und "ich, ich" schrien. Kleine Kinder!

Jupp, jedem seine Erziehung, aber religiöses in die Kirche, nicht in die Schule, und bitteschön immer mit dem Zusatz: andere denken anders und haben auch ihren Grund dafür, der ist nicht weniger wert nur weils ein andere Grund ist!
