How surprised I was to find snow on the ground this morning. It's actually somewhat retarded- I seriously thought the idea of snow for the rest of winter was gone but now I am hearing the next three days of weather is suppose to have rain snow mix which is really annoying.
Good news! I can actually walk on my foot! Still have to take it easy though with longer distances - wearing the boot around more as a precaution now, but I'm glad I can at least walk to the kitchen without that stupid thing on now. :) YAY! Thank you for your prayers for my foot, I really appreciate it.
Today though I am feeling a bit under the weather (ahem, the curse is upon me, woohoo, NOT) and since I am feeling somewhat dizzy and crappy, I decided not to go to class today because this week is downtime for the Shakespeare class. Plus, I have five friends who I can get notes from, so its all good because they are all excellent note takers like me :). So I plan on trying to catch up on some reading I have to get done today, such as reading the rest of the play for class, and reading Mansfield Park, the last novel I have to read for my seminar. I was going to choose Persuasion, but I've read it so many times that I am kind of....sick of it? I'd rather read one that I haven't read in awhile, and it was either Mansfield or Emma, so I decided I would read about dear Fanny Price, who never compromises her values and beliefs, even though she is surrounded by absolutely horribly snobby people. wow, I'm tired.
This weekend is going to be a bit....awkward in a sense. Its been a year since Kela left.
I'm hoping for the best though, and while I hope I don't cry on Saturday, it will be alright if I do. I just miss my friend, that's all.
Can't wait for this weekend because I have Monday off, and Tuesday (winter break at the SBOC) so I don't have class til next wednesday. The downside? That wednesday is my midterm for Shakespeare. GRR. ack- my cat was on me.
I'm exhausted. I don't feel well, so I am going to crawl back into bed and drink ginger ale (if I had some real ginger, I would chew on that because it really works for stomachaches, but you have to chew it in small bites because its REALLY strong, but it makes me feel better in a matter of one minute).
Oh, I hung out with Andy yesterday. It was good - we had a really nice talk and it wasn't awkward at all. He'll be alright. It was good to hang out with him and I am really glad I did! :) Feel like our friendship is getting back on track.
other than that, everything is copasetic. Did I spell that right?
