Yesterday I went to see "A Single Man", starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, and I can't recommend the film highly enough. I would say the last film to have such a profound affect on me was "Brokeback Mountain", and in some ways "A Single Man" made more of an impression. The acting was wonderful, the period detail made it visually stunning and the content was incredibly moving. I won't say any more about the film in case you haven't seen it - if you get chance to do so, you're in for a treat.
