rolled-down windows during the twilight hour are always nice

and the kids are already gnawing on their leashes
because of the tempting smell of summer that reminds them of freedom

pool parties on weekdays
long night drives and
IHOP breakfast for dinner
i'm running out of excuses to not have fun
marlena and i sat in the 100s hall today all 4th period
it was quite hilarious
i guess mr. ayres isn't a fan of our whispering
we ended up doing cartwheels and were laughing our heads off when he opened the door to let us back in

days are getting easier to get through despite the homework load
things to look forward to and plan on
when did i become so typical?
p.s. and yes, i did eat all four of those gigantic chocolate chip pancakes
