Well, my dental track record is now officially broken - I am the proud owner of a filling. I knew what was going to happen the minute I saw the novecaine on the equipment tray.

It made most of the afternoon interesting, as my appointment was at 10:15 AM and the novecaine didn't wear off until after 3:00 PM.

Well, got a fun day lined up tomorrow. I get to go into the dentist again to have another composite done, and at my last appointment the tech made it sound like it was going to be an actual filling. Much fun, yea verily ( Read more... )

Well, the dentist didn't go as badly as I thought. Whole thing took about fifteen minutes, no numbing, no drilling, no caps and no restrictions on eating, drinking and the like.

So I was worried over nothing.

My record is broken.

The dentist said I have a "minor breakdown" on the top of one of my molars that he wants to patch with composite.

So I have to go back in Friday.

So the dentist can patch up a teeny-tiny, eensy-weensy iddle hole in my tooth.

Damn, and I was doing so well too!
