Thanksgiving weekend..
Got to manchester wednesday afternoon.. Kim was on baking duty for thanksgiving, so I went over to keep her company, we baked some chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Visited Taylor at kool cow & made a packy run. Ate dinner @ home w/ the family while Kim showered and got ready, then we headed to Kendra's house to pre-game. I never drink alot pregaming.. usually a couple beers, but I finished my 6-pack and had a couple shots... then we all (me, Kim, Kendra, Lisa) went to Chez Est in hartford (the plan was Polo club but apparantly they're remodeling) It was PACKED w/ gay men.. I think I saw a total of maybe 4 other lesbians, ha. Although I ran into Brian from work, which was exciting. Cassandra met up with us, which was cool, I never chill with her. Had a couple beers & shots. Got real trashed. Peed next to the bar behind a fence on the street, while Kim was parked right there waiting for us and we didnt realize, lol. Then on the way home, I realized while on the highway that I was going to puke, we couldnt pull over in time, so I pulled out my shirt and puked in it, lol. It was disgusting, but also impressive. How many people can puke for like 5 minutes and get NOTHING in the new car?! Finally pulled over but by now I was done puking and it was all between my body and my shirt... immediatly went to the washing machine when I got home and stripped down to nothing, cleaned up and passed out on the couch.
Woke up thanskgiving morning to my brother vacumming right by my head. Not soo plesant when I'm hungover.. decided not to run the race and passed out in my brothers bed for a couple more hours. Woke up, showered thinking it would make me feel better, but after laying down on the couch for a bit I ended up jumping up to run to the bathroom and puking all over my dining room floor instead!! Ran to the bathroom and got it all out of my system, while my dad cleaned up the dining room for me and joked with me a bit, haha. Then people started showing up like 10 minutes later, lol.. Had a huge Thanksgiving dinner, which was really good, mmmmm.
Working retail on black friday wasn't as bad as it has been in the past, although... workin in footwear isn't as bad as other departments, so thats probably why.
Ashley & I headed down to shauns house friday evening. Met up with the rest of the rugby girls at Merrit Canteen.. mmm I had been waiting 2 years to eat there, haha. It was real good, altho it went through my body a little TOO fast, lol.
Woke up at the ass crack of dawn, 530am, saturday to head to Randall's Island for NY 7's touranment. We ended up losing all three games... the first one we just weren't awake for, it was way too early. The 2nd game we played the team that won the tournament last year, although we played really well, only lost by 1 try, and I scored.. so that was exciting! The third game was alright, we didnt play as well as we shouldve.. and we were missing Rayna cause she got injured in the first game. But it was a good time anyways.
Went to the hotels to find that the intern booked single rooms... so the thought of everyone having a bed to sleep in was shot down cause we had two rooms with 1 bed each. Shaun let Ashley have the bed which was nice.. cause she wanted to sleep with dave & I wasnt giving up my spot on the bed, lol.
Went out to the bar for the tournament social. Nobody got carded, which was cool, since Ashley & Kelly had fakes. The bar sucked tho.. it was too small for the amount of people that were there, and the free beer from 8-9 was disgusting!! I couldn't even drink it.. now that says something! Managed to steal a free beer off of someone elses order tho, ha. Left to find another, less crowded, bar... got a hotdog and pretzel off the streets, mmmmm, then decided to get a 40 and go back to the hotel instead of a bar since we could only find nice restaurant/bars.
In the morning Ashley & I walked around the city in the pouring rain. Went into the HUGE old navy, it was 4 floors, it was insane. American Eagle wasn't open yet, which was disappointing. Got a really good deal on duffle bags @ Macy's Sport.. $5 for 2 bags! yay for clearance stuff!
Shaun got pulled over on the way home... I didn't even realize, cause I was passed out, just noticed Ashley putting her seatbelt on all of a sudden. The cop was being a prick.. told shaun her ticket was $250, went to his car to run her plates & ID.. when he came back he just gave her a verbal warning, suprisingly.
And.. that was the end of the weekend. Back to school... only 2 more weeks until finals tho!!! wohoo!
