Weather.com says it's 83 degrees right now. The Weather channel says 82. Dashboard says it's 91. And I just got back a few minutes ago from bicycling to Walmart and back, about six miles round trip. I decided to get my newest BP med prescription from Walmart instead of Walgreens; Four dollars for thirty days beats $11.95 hands down, even if the ride damn near killed me. I was really dizzy when I made it to Walmart. I roamed the aisle's while waiting for my pills, and found several bottle of juices, waters, and teas. I also got a box of snack packs of the mini banana nut muffins. I felt so depleted. They carry Green Leaf Mint and Honey, and you know I grabbed all the bottles. (Going to SNAHC Tuesday and of course I'll get all they have at 19th Street Safeway.) Couldn't find Gold Leaf though. I'll try to remember to look for it Tuesday. I have a good supply of drinks now. I'll keep it down to milk, Gold Peak, and Green Leaf.
I also stopped at Bed Bath & Beyond right across the street from Walmart. Got 20 clothes hangers and a bath pillow. I saw so many shops and restaurants that I thought were out of reach until today. HomeTown Buffet is right there by BB&B. RiteAid and the WaffleHouse are on the way there, plus one or two 99¢ stores. I also saw a donut place somewhere along the way. Gotta stop there when I'm able. It's just a bitch getting there. The sidewalks and streets are real rough in some places; I scraped the pedals a couple times.
Got stuff done but it was a rough day. When I got home I was almost to tired to unload the baskets and get everything upstairs. I had several bottles in my backpack and my lower back still hurts. I turned on the AC while I put things away, then turned it off while I gathered and towels and clothes for a quick shower. I just had to sluice the sweat off; I felt clammy all over. Even my bra, panties, and what were fresh socks when I put them on went into the dirty clothes pile.
