Haha, I say 'Double dumb ass on you" sometimes - usually when some guy cuts me off in traffic. :D

Awww... yeah, I love this movie too. And I love how Gillian is so AWESOME at the end where she starts off on her new career and totally blindsides Kirk by not fawning all over him. She's awesome. :D

I first watched this as a kid and it totally convinced me that humpbacks would be wiped out very soon. To this day I still can't believe they're not extinct.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure George and Gracie were named after these people: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042111/

Loved reading your reactions!

(Did you watch Star Trek III? That has a special place in my heart, mostly because it's the slashiest movie ever made and I love seeing Kirk!pain.)

I know, right?! She's amazing! :D

And I can definitely imagine. Seriously.

Oh, very cool! :D I guess they just reminded me a bit of my grandparents' cats, those names. :)

Thanks! :D Definitely glad it entertained you. :)

And sadly no -- but I definitely should. :)

"Double Dumb-Ass" and "Nuclear Wessels" are such classic lines! *ha*

Time travel isn't new in the Star Trek 'verse. The spin-off series had plenty of good ones, but the titles don't come to mind. I do highly recommend "The City on the Edge of Forever" episode from the Original Series. An all-time classic. (I think startrek.com has streaming episodes.)

I don't know why they always put Chekov in peril. Maybe because he was the youngest? Oh, did you notice Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Gos in a cameo?

Oh, and what about the whole business with Scotty and McCoy, where Scotty gives the guy the formula for transparent aluminum? Hilarious!

I heard of a cut sequence I would've loved to have seen: When Sulu is going through the neighborhood with McCoy and Scotty, he encounters a child he realizes is one of his ancestors (I think his great-great grandfather). That would've been nice to see, if only to give Takei more screen time.

Oh, and can I also add that Vulcans are awesome, period! ;)

I know, right? :D They're just...awesome. :3

Oh, very neat! *Makes note to check out "The City On The Edge of Forever" sometime*

Yeah, that's probably the case. *Huggles Chekov*

Sadly, not really -- but that's pretty awesome! :D

Oh yes, I love that bit! :D *Really should have included that. Seriously. :)*

And that really sounds like an awesome scene. It really does. :)

They are! :D Seriously. :)
