Okay, I didn't make this account to try and trash the musicians of today nor their fans but some things just piss me off!
I'm well known in my class to be a little above the usual when in comes to music and such, so most of them know I like The Beatles (and older bands) which I often get teased about but in a way I can laugh at it too.To be honest I often mock the fab four but that's because I love them like crazy!-- I do that to everything and everyone I like.
It's a music class where everyone has their own taste in music and gets accepted for whatever they like and I've covered the late 50's to early 90's so I'm kind of like my classmates human dictionary in music history ...lol XD
Anyroad one time a classmate begun talking to me about how she hated The Beatles and a bunch of stuff like, "Their music's crap" and "Why do you listen to them? I thought they sad you had good taste in music?!" I shrugged her off since that was what she thought, I never bother with such things since everyone should have their own opinion . If she doesn't want to know real music- I can't help her from being an arrogant dumb ass. But then there's more, she continued, "They're just some brits that ripped Justin Bieber off- They're so pathetic with that hair!" This was my reaction at first 0__0 which later turned into :@
The next thing I found myself doing was to teach her the big time-gap between the legends and this pop star kid (what music does he make besides shit??). So there I was explaining in a way she didn't understand how dumb she was to say such things. The band broke up more than 20 years before whats-his-face was born! Plus the moptop-hairstyle was popular even further back in history which means that Justin might be the one who's copying The Beatles instead and not the other way around. Just wtf?! Think with your brain girl!
Of course it took awhile but she finally agreed that I was right and she was wrong.
What is it with my generation- Are we teenagers just that ignorant? Hope I'm not.XD Though I have to say that I find this experience hilarious in a sort of mean way ;P
