HP 7.2 - The Real Thing

Cause last night post didn't count really.

So, I'm less emotional than I was yesterday and I'm able to actually form sentences on that epic movie.

Where to beging?

Hm. My favourite scene was the same as in the book - McGonagall kicking Snape out of Great Hall. Can I just say how much I ADORE Mcgonagall? She's by far my favourite character and I've always thought she was fascinating from the first book! So underused sometimes, but I LOVED her when she did that. It was as I imagined it would be. *nods* Oh and I dare you to tell me she wasn't defending Dumbledore! *shippy glasses* (Don't tell me he's gay, I won't believe you. :P)

So, the kiss? AHHHH. FINALLY! I cannot add anything! I grinned like an idiot. :D

Though, I do think Fred's death fell short. There was so much action, we barely had time to see it, let alone Tonks and Remus. And Remus mentionning his son there at the end when talking to Harry? Just saying that it probably didn't really make sense to someone who hadn't read the books, because they never even mentionned he was with Tonks in the movies. Subtle hints, but they didn't really told us I think. :/

Anyway, those are minor quirks because really, I LOVED it! I know they changed some things in the battle between Harry and Voldemort, but I thought it worked great for a movie. They couldn't do it exactly the same way, but I thought what they did was really good!

And the epilogue? I'm surprised. As much as I wasn't a fan of the epilogue in the book, I liked it a lot in the movie. Sounded less 'cheap' (for lack of a better word) in the movie, IMHO. Though, I missed hearing that Neville was teaching at Hogwarts. ;P

So overall, AN EPIC MOVIE AND I FEEL ALL NOSTALGIC THAT HARRY POTTER IS OVER. I started reading the books again this morning! :D
