HOSHI--! (new Naruto)
I am so catching up on Naruto manga tonight, because I just read the latest chapter completely out of order and despite having read spoilers up til now it's not the same and ASFJDLA;DSJFK;JDSAFDKL;A!!!
I'm.. excited. Okay? Seeing Sasuke laugh so insanely like Itachi got my blood pumping and I'm like RAWR!! SASUKE! YOU ARE CRAZY INSANE AND PROBABLY ARE NOT DONE FALLING OFF THE DEEP END BUT I'M ALONG FOR THE PLUMMET BECAUSE THAT'LL MAKE IT ALL THE MORE AMAZING LATER. yes, I still have faith in him (and Naruto) and maybe I'm crazy for that, but that's okay. The more insane he seems to get, the more I just want to glomp him and squish him with tears running down my face, laughing maniacally. >_> this is not me condoning Sasuke's actions, or being happy about them, it's just that I empathize so much for this boy, and his insanity overcomes me a bit sometimes. I just cannot accept the idea that he's beyond redemption, even after what's just happened with Karin and Sakura.
(for the record, it's not been Sasuke's relentless spiral into insanity/darkness that's kept me from reading. it was Sakura's raped characterization. I'm going to get over that for now, and resolve that whatever Kishi does to fuck her up in the manga, can be fixed in future fiction. *sharp nod*)

I hope this fight is epic but not epic enough to actually kill Kakashi >_> . Also? I want to see some Sakura/Karin bonding. YUS.
