Oh my gosh, I love this so much. Can you read my mind? Because this is truly exactly what I was picturing in my head.

I really love the way you paint the picture of the city. I really love that you touched upon this idea that waking up in the city ::is:: going to be a different experience for both Clark and Lois. Yes, Clark has spent a great deal of time working in Metropolis over the last few years. But he has still been waking up on the farm. He's still been going home to that farm. This is a whole new world and so many new things to adjust to.

When I moved out of the city I remember experiencing such a sense of ....strangeness....because it was finally quiet again. I used to live so close to the train and every morning I would wake up to the train tracks outside my window. When I got married...we moved to an absolutely gorgeous spot but it was more quiet. It took some getting used to the other way around!

I also love the detail of Lois wearing his glasses. I loved at the end of "Booster" that it looked like she had snagged them. It raises so many questions. Does Lois actually need reading glasses but she just refuses to get them? Is there an actual prescription in the glasses that help her? Or does she just wear them for fun and for a way to be close to Clark?

And you know how in love I am with the idea of "home" with Lois and Clark.

I absolutely love this. What a treat. Thank you so much for doing this for me. It truly brightened my day (after a stressful afternoon) and it made me miss you so much. I miss you so much too!!!!!

Yay!

I like spaces and thinking about spaces so this was fun to do just try and have a wee moment in Clark's head.

Lois wearing his glasses may be my single most favorite thing of the past few episodes because I had a fic once when Lois and Clark were older, much older, and Lois stole his glasses to read but refused to admit that she needed them. So I'm glad it's sort of canon.
