An Update & Picspams (Clois, SV) (seriously image-heavy)
Hey All,
I've been so M.I.A., it's awful. RL has been truly insane - seriously working like a dog and mostly loving it and hoping they will ship me to Cape Town or some place near that part of the world in the next year - fingers crossed. But since L.J. has been so thoroughly useless of late, I don't feel as bad as I could - so that's something. Also, Tumblr has literally eaten my soul (despite being as irritating as L.J. in the going down department, maybe more so) but it's kind of struck the perfect balance between Twitter and L.J. for me with an added dose of pretty. But I shall never forsake my beloved L.J. because I miss you all and have weeks and weeks of posts to catch up on. Also, *whispers* join Tumblr, pleeeeeeaaaassseeeee!
Finally hiatus is coming to an end - I am so excited, I can't bear it! Also preparing to cry like an infant over Smallville - so many ups and downs but I'm unsure what my life will be without it. I need to buy my flight ticket for Nashville where I will be sitting in a corner soaking my sorrows in champagne at the SV finale (preemptive apology Kimmie, Tasha and Chris). I'm so ANGRY at myself, I forgot to send in my nominations for the DI fic awards, there are so many fucking amazing stories I've read over the years and I didn't get to put them forward!!! Argh! I'm sure since I enjoyed them that many others did and those folks will go through to whatever the next round is but I feel stupid about it. Argh.
Vampire Diaries looks set to pull me back in despite my incessant ranting - but I've been doing a re-watch with angryzen and it's rekindled my love for the show and also helped me get more critical of different character arcs in a way I couldn't before since I literally consumed season 1 in a weekend.
Anyway, Tumblr is the land of pretty so I've spent the past few weeks contributing by making not-so-pretty picspams on everything under the sun. There are way too many to put up here because I am lazy as hell but I'm going to post some of my SV ones - I started an evolution project, with particular, and sometimes ridiculous things over the course of the show, it's fun. Also themed party is my new obsession, character flaws to dances, so much fun.
