graphic designer wanted
We're on the look-out for a volunteer graphic designer to design promo materials (festival program guide, poster, handbills, newspaper ads and merchandise) for its 2006 festival, taking place this September.
If you are:
- Interested in DIY culture and feminism
- Able to design with a clean/pretty/rock n’ roll/edgy aesthetic
- Ottawa-based
- Able to work well in with a large team
- Flexible and adaptable
- Resourceful
- Responsible
- Willing to commit 80-100 hours between now and September

Volunteering with LFO, you will:
- acquire valuable job skills, use LFO as a job reference and build up your portfolio
- get free access to festival events
- be a leader in this positive community-building project
- get to know other people in your community
- enjoy knowing that in a practical way, you are supporting cultural content created by women
- be rockin’ out with fabulous women
- oh.. and you’ll get a small honorarium too!
