I hate snow

I pay a "snow and mow" fee to a homeowners' association, and I'm not sure I'm getting my money's worth out of the snow part.

A couple inches fell on Sunday afternoon. A lone guy with a snowblower came around and went through the neighborhood. Fine. Another storm came through this morning, and we got at least the same amount or more. But it's nearly 5 p.m., and there's no sign of anyone. I ended up doing it myself, since that's what other people were doing. It's supposed to dip into the 20s tonight and stay really cold the rest of the week -- so I didn't want to run the risk of getting stuck doing it tomorrow after it had frozen, when I could get help today from the afternoon sun. A lady driving by who saw me shoveling stopped and questioned the whole situation too, since she wasn't exactly sure of the criteria either. She thought there had to be at least three inches for someone to do it for us. If that's true, we definitely hit that today. Anyway, I just wish someone would give me what I paid for.
