bored. doing nothing. so i gacked this from brandi1498

i know. you're all totally surprised, aren't you?

- The best book you read last year: Road to Hell by Jackie Kessler. considering i only read two and a half books last year... yeah. it was a really off year for me.

- A book you've read more than 3 times: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. my copy is quite worn and used. of course, i might also be able to add The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. i'm not sure about that one, though.

- Your favourite series: i have to pick a favorite? have you seen how many i'm reading? seriously? okay. i guess if i have to pick my favorite, i'm still going to go with the Anita Blake series. mostly for the men, though. cos... you know

- A guilty pleasure book:  o.O people have these? either i read a book and like it. and ADMIT that i like it. or i read a book, don't like it and never touch it again. pretty simple, that.

- A book that made you laugh:  any of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. Douglas Adams' Hitchhikers books were hilarious, too. oh. Brain Droppings by George Carlin.

- A book that made you cry: Chimera by Rob Thurman. the end totally saw me tearing up and i totally wasn't expecting it, either.

- Most underrated book:  uh... isn't that kind of a hard call? is this a book i've read? or is this all the books ever written? cos if it is, i've not read all the books written. so... i'm no judge. to be honest, i don't think i have a most underrated book because my opinion is mine and might not be someone else's. all i can do is recommend.

- Most overrated book: see my previous answer. though... there's a series i could name that would fit here. i won't, though, because that would be childish and petty and i'm above such things.

...

really. i am. besides, who ever heard of sparkly vampires?

- A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving:  i haven't had books that i didn't think i'd like before starting them. i'm actually pretty good about picking books that i do like.

- Favorite classic book:  i'm a bad bad book whore. i don't have any classics that i've read and really enjoyed.

- A book you hated:  see the answer for number 9. cos, yeah.

- A book you used to love but don’t anymore: i am not as enamored of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles as i once was. but that might have more to do with the author and not the actual book. yeah. i'm kind of shallow like that.

- Your favorite author:  i seriously have to pick one? erm... i honestly don't know who'd hit on the top. especially since i sometimes like the worlds and stuff the author has created while still having problems with the author.

- Favorite male character: need you really ask? okay. i'll say it. Jean Claude. *drools* ...scuse me. i must go stare at my wallpaper. though... is this just books? cos if it isn't, i suppose i could toss Remy on the list. wow. did it just get hot in here?

- Favorite female character:  uh... Rachel Morgan from the Hollows books more than likely tops the list. though i imagine this is something subject to change.

- Your biggest fictional crush: so, again... is this just books or do comics apply here? either way, see the answer to #14. those two together? oh damn. i need a cold shower.

- A Good Quick Read:  any of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. or the Stephanie Plum books.

- A book that disappointed you:  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling. seriously. it felt like fan fiction to me. and poorly slapped together fan fiction, at that. take out all the whining and the shit in the forest and it might have been a good book.

- Favorite book-to-movie conversion:  considering most of the books i read would never be considered for movies, i'll have to go with the Harry Potter series.

- Favorite romance:  Jean Claude and Asher

...

what? its there! you just have to read between the lines and Anita's irrational possessiveness! its there, i tell you.

- Favorite book from your childhood: uh... do you know how many books i've read in my life? my first trip to the library saw me leaving in tears because i could only check out 5 books. i think i had 10 or 15. i still have a copy of a book i got about Helen Keller's life, though. so...

- A book you can't wait for:  at this point in time... any, really.

- A book you've been meaning to read for ages: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

- A book that you wish more people would read:  hell, at this point, i think getting people to read any book would be fabulous.

- Character you are most similar to:  uh... i really don't know. i don't usually associate myself with someone's characters.

- A book that changed your opinion about something:  what? i'm supposed to read to change the world? i read to get lost. seriously.

- Most surprising plot twist or ending:  if we're talking  books, that would be Chimera by Rob Thurman because i never saw that coming. if we're talking comics... 1602. i know Daz knows what i'm talking about. totally didn't see that one coming, though i really should have...

- Favorite book title:  A Rush of Wings

- A book everyone hated but you liked:  again... opinions and all. though one of the comms i belong to... these people apparently hate just a bout everything i like. so... there you go.

- Your favorite book OF ALL TIME:  i'm going to have to go with Guilty Pleasures by LKH simply because it was the book that introduced me to Jean Claude
