Last First Day of School!!
I'm actually really excited for some of my classes this semester...even though I'm so not ready to graduate :(
Ok so here's the low down:
Microbiology (was taking it because I thought I wanted to do nursing, but don't really want to..but I'm taking the class anyway because I need at least 12 credits to be a full time student) anyways, microbio will be the easiest class on the face of the planet, it is a 100 level class...can you say easy A??
Histology: this class is basically taking everything i learned in A&P and learning even more lol...this class will be fun, I get to classify different cells/organelles/ etc using the microscope as well as re-learn all of their functions/what can go wrong/what that looks like..should be fun! The lab is going to be basically us showing up and doing our own work (looking at and classifying slides)..which basically means no structed labs (and no lab reports!!)
Neuroscience: this class will be a bit rough, but I am excited for the lab...next week we dissect sheep brains, and in a couple weeks, we will be doing a rat brain lesion lab...basically I get to perform brain surgery on a rat (with anesthetics and all that jazz)...kind of excited about this. (is that cruel?)
