Recontemplating Neighborcide

Just when you think it's safe to go outside....

So after attending a lymphoma fundraiser and then my friends' band's show, I arrived home a little after 2am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Tired, I read for a little while and then went to sleep with relatively little interference from my insomnia.

Thus I was enjoying a peaceful, dreamless sleep, for a good 2 hours before I woke up. I glanced at the clock. As I took a moment to wonder why I was awake, I heard it. The inconsiderate-wannabe-a-rockstar-spawn-of-satan-that-is-my-upstairs-neighbor was playing his thrice cursed guitar. AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING!! 4:30 IN THE MORNING!!! Not only was he playing at 4:30 IN THE MORNING, but he was playing directly above my bed.

Filled with rage, I stumbled out of bed and went searching for the broom. Found it in the third place I looked in my sleep-haze. And began banging on the ceiling. I was so angry, that I was actually afraid I was going to punch a hole through the drywall. I was ignored. So I went to pee, and contemplated where my sweater was so that I could go outside, upstairs and pound on his door. Just as I looked for my shoes, I heard a loud thump and he shut the hell up. And it's a good thing too. 'Cause I could have ripped his frigging head off. And I mean that literally, not figuratively.

Just another thing to add to the list of why I should move the hell out of this place.

So tomorrow (today) is my last Vinblastin chemo. Yay. Then I get two weeks off and begin Gemzar chemo. Fun fun fun. Gemzar should be easier overall, but harder on my lungs. Ugh. All I gotta say is that it better work. Or else.

chemo, cancer, cancer support
