Dear Dame Edna,
I'm very very surprised by how very very unfunny you actually are.
I've seen better drag and better comedy at Comedy Caravan. How you ever won a Tony Award for that performance is completely beyond me. I will admit that you had your funny moments, but that show belongs in a seedy club, maybe even Connection, not on Broadway, or masquerading as a Broadway Tour production.
I might, and i mean might, pay $5, tops, to see you, if that. (Fortunately, I got to see you with no expense to me.)I realize you've been doing this for a very long time and you've had tremendous success, but last night I really wondered how and why. Did you used to be funny? Were you having an off night? What happened? No, really. What happened?
Very Bewildered,
Jessica

In other news:
I got a rug yesterday. Yea! And a lamp. The rug was marked $20 off what it was a week ago. So I bought a couple of shirts instead... Oops.
Good weekend. I hung out with Julia, who I hadn't really seen much of since before my transplant. Saw Something's Gotta Give with Katy. Keanu Reeves was actually very charming and his acting was good. Go figure. How did that happen? The movie was very good but how does anyone find Jack Nicholson sexy? Because I know I don't. Diane Keaton was fabulous, but I actually felt more chemistry from her and Keanu than her and Jack. Umm. Okay. That's just weird.
