This is why everyone should try to learn about grammar

Okay, well, everyone should try to learn about grammar because grammar is awesome, but that's beside the point.  What is the point, you ask?  I was trying to find a rule for when "captain" should be capitalized, and I came across a website that discussed the issue.  Here is what they have to say:

GRAMMARCHECK: Names of vehicles (such as trains, ships, and aircraft) are italicized or underlined in writing. You are right in saying that "Captain" is capitalized when it is part of a proper name:

Captain John Smith

-or-

Captain James Kirk

I love it when Star Trek pops up in random places! ^_^

(BTW, for those who are curious, the word is always capitalized except:

If the person holding the title is unknown or unreferenced directly, the title is not capitalized:
Who's the captain of this ship?)
