I suspect that level 43 is way over-leveled for beating Rise's shadow.
My strategy thus far, for both the saunas and the strip club, has been as follows:
Go into the previous dungeon and grind it up and down until all the enemies are tiny shadows in the dungeon itself, and just about everything's a one-hit-kill. Then return to the entrance and have the fox (you DID complete a quest or two, didn't you?) heal you. Yeah, it'll cost, but it's worth it for this strategy. It so totally is. (also, you've been buying up the TaP sodas from the vending machine every few days, right? Those restore 10 SP each, and at 120Y each, that's not bad!)
Now that you're over-leveled for that first dungeon, and have beaten the new boss in it (why wouldn't you? Extra weapon for the character whose dungeon it is, come on!) start in on the new dungeon. Be sure to have a Persona with you who has Traesto, because that might come in handy.
Cu Sith gets Traesto at I forget which level (15 or so?) but it gets it. Fuse it with another Persona such that the new one inherits Traesto, if you want, but it's a skill you'll want to keep around for this strategy, since Goho-Ms can run out. Take that Persona with you into the new dungeon, and work your way up to the top... or wherever it is you run out of SP. Then Traesto back to the entrance, get the fox to refill you, and go back in. Work that dungeon up and down until you can simply press triangle and rush whatever enemies aren't phys-null or phys-repel, without getting killed. Then just keep doing that until you're satisfied with your level.
So here I am, on floor 10 of the strip club, having found myself a nice little Y-fork in the path, both ends of which lead to single rooms that had chests in them, and now have a single shadow each. Due to grinding over the Castle and Bath House, opening every unlocked treasure chest, and not opening every gold chest I found, I now have 23 chest keys and enough healing items to compete for business with the Shiroku store. I have roughly 400,000Y, and that's before selling any of the enemies' item drops. In fact, I don't anticipate beating Rise's shadow and returning to Inaba to sell those things for quite a while yet.
Yes, it's taking forever. But I want to wipe the floor with the boss. :| That, and I want to get overpowered Personas. I find it amusing to be offered Personas in the card-thing after battles, that I already fused in the previous dungeon.
I've got an Oni with Seal Bomb and Diarama, a Mothman with Counter and Traesto, and a Pazuzu with Invigorate 2. I'm liking having the funds to keep summoning Personas to get just the right combinations. (and have spent too much time re-selecting the component Personas until the skills I wanted showed up in the resulting one, but that's a different issue.)
