GUESS WHAT?! I GOT A KITTY!!! I am so excited!!! I love her so much!! Her name is Rita(Ree-ta). She is SO adorable!!! She is a torby (half tabby, half tortoise shell... not a REAL tortoise shell btw). We got her from the Humane Society, I love her so much. We were able to get her as they were putting her in the cage. She has an extremely long tail and very pointy ears and she loves to curl up in my lap to sleep. I think she thinks I'm her mother (technically I am her mother, but not by birth ;-) ). She is just like a little child, only four months old.
Well, needless to say, we got the place. Jerry and I are living together happily and we also got a roommate. Her name is Eryn and she is a trip. She's a great person but a little on the wacko side. She's pretty interesting. She's a teacher's aide at an elementary school in Palo Alto and she loves it so much. I think she wants to be a first grade teacher.
I think I decided I'm gonna be a vet. They make a fair amount of money and they are always working with animals and I love all animals dearly and equally. I think it would be quite an experience. Well, for now I'm working in retail at Macy's. I think I'm working in Men's (I just got the job I have to fill out the paperwork tomorrow). I'm a temp. but I might want to get a perm. job at the end of the holiday season.
