Today I have to give up a cute little adorable tiger kitty. :( Tuesday night my friend came over and she parks at the restaurant parking lot next door and when she came in she said there was a tiny kitten in the parking lot next door and it almost got hit by a car, so I ran out and got it..I knew there was a stray tiger cat that hangs around in ( Read more... )

Some towns have privately run "cat resque" agences -- here it is Town Cats -- that specialize in placing cats in good homes. You might see if there is one in your area. A kitten that is socialized and litter trained should be an easy placement.

Better find a home for it soon or Shadow and Luna and you will become attached to it.

I'll look into that...I'm already attached to it andso are the kids..i mean it's a cute little kitten, how can you not get attached. lol But as for Shadow and Luna don't see them getting attached any time soon. lol They aren't too happy she's here..and I have to keep them seperated for health reasons as well as for the fact my cats don't like her in their house. But she's just so firendly and cute and sweet and aww she's got the cutest little slanted eyes and she meows so cutely...she's just so adorable. Thanks for the info though, I will see if we have a place like that in RI.

You are brave, Lisa. I don't know that I would be able to give the kitty up. Every time I go to PetSmart and visit the kitties they have for adoption I leave feeling depressed. Those poor guys have no home and no one to love them.

I guess that is why we ended up with 9 cats. But the last 2 were not my fault I swear!!

Oh believe me, it wasn't easy...I didn't want to give her up. :( But I just had to...I really couldn't afford to make sure she is healthy and at least at the shelters, they do vaccinate them and all that, so at least they get that. But she was so adorable and so sweet...my kids werent' too happy to come home ot find her gone. Even though I told them that she wouldn't be here when they got home, but I think they thought I would keep her anyway. It was sooo tempting. Though when I took her to the Warwick Animal Shelter, I felt really bad..there's so many animals there with no home. :( I wanted to take them all home...*sigh* Well, hopefully she finds a home soon...she is only 6 weeks old (maybe younger) and adorable, so that's definitely a plus..and she's already litter trained. I miss her though already. :(

That is the problem, I want to take them all home too. It is so sad. I don't understand how people can be so cruel.

Awwww, what a touching story, I am a major cat person, have two cats of my own, and that was a very wonderful thing you did looking out for the little cutie, I am sure she will get a loving home. If I could I would take in every cat, however it is not feasbile, and not entirely realistic, my grandmother has almost 50 cats, and when I go over there it is lovely to pat them, but 50 is way too many cats for just about any one person to handle, although my grandmother does try, she used to have more cats. I love cats but know that there is a limit on how many we can each take care of. She does sound like such a cutie though.

That's just so heartbreaking. :(

It makes me want to go home and play with my cats.
