Finally an update
I've been meaning to update in forever, but these past two weeks have been crazy and I haven't had time.
So yes...I was in Israel from July 10-July 27 for Birthright Israel. It was an amazing experience. I can't even begin to write about it. Once I get time to just sit down and write I'm going to put together a journal of all my experiences there. I'm still in the process of putting together a photo album as well.
So other things. I finally found a job here in NY, working as a production assistant at a small independent animation studio in Brooklyn called Walsh Family Media. It's amazing! I love it. The only issue I have right now is that it's very low pay...which worries me if I'm to continue living in NY. My sublease ends at the end of August and at the moment I don't have a new place to live. My original plan (if I chose to stay up here) was to find a real apt and sign a year lease. However, I'm still nervous about signing into that because I don't know that I'm going to be able to afford to stay up here with my salary. So, I'm trying to find another place to sublet to give myself more time at my job to see how things go and if I feel like I might move up. But...that depends on if I can even find a sublet. If I can't I don't know what I'm going to do.
Tomorrow I might be going to a beach on Long Island with my roommate. I'm super excited! I've never been to a NY beach before. Well...besides Coney Island but I don't know if that counts.
Anywho, I guess that's all the news for now. Right now I'm hanging out watching the Olympics which I love.
