List the books in order from your favourite to your least favourite.
1. Order of the Phoenix
2. Prisoner of Azkaban
3. Sorcerer's Stone
4. Goblet of Fire
5. Chamber of Secrets
6. Deathly Hallows
7. Half-Blood Prince

DISCLAIMER: In many ways, trying to rank the HP books for me is like trying to rank the SW movies. I enjoyed them all (some more than others), actively dislike none, and the preference often depends on my mood. For instance, OotP was my least favorite upon first read, now it's the top. HBP I loved on first reading and look back on more critically now, but still enjoy it.

I know a lot of people list PoA as their favorite of the films, but it was such a huge letdown for me - the heart of PoA for me is the Marauders backstory, and I thought it was hacked to ribbons. The only reason I watch this one is because it's basically on-screen H/Hr fanfic. OotP, despite cutting even more than PoA, I thought matched the feel of the book best, and handled the cuts in a way that I didn't particularly mind what was gone. And I think it had some of the most spot-on casting in the series, between Luna, Umbridge, and Bellatrix.

Top 5 favourite characters?
Luna, Harry, Neville, Hermione, McGonagall.

5 least favourite characters?
HBP/DH!Ginny, HBP!Harry, Molly, Fudge, Umbridge (in a love-to-hate way).

Favourite Unforgivable Curse?
Ehh... AK, I guess, since it's the most important to the series.

Favourite mode of wizard transportation?
For fun: brooms, without a doubt. For convenience: Apparating. Would make planning that trip to Hawaii a LOT easier. ;)

(Adding this one) Favourite magical object to own?
A toss-up between the Invisibility Cloak or Hermione's purse from DH. Man, the things you could do with either of those...

Favourite Weasley?
As a whole I find the Weasley clan pretty overrated, but if I had to choose, Fred & George.

Favourite non-human Hogwarts resident?
Hedwig and Crookshanks.

Favourite couple?
Fanon/AU (and overall): Harry & Luna. Canon: Harry & Cho - that was the one teen romance I thought JKR handled almost flawlessly; they're so delightfully messed up.

Biggest surprise of the series?
Hedwig getting offed. That blindsided the HELL out of me.

Biggest letdown of the series?
The execution of Harry/Ginny (I so, so wish JKR had chosen to have them bond over their shared Riddle/Voldemort background instead of hormones and Quidditch), and the Epilogue, which I don't think accomplished NEAR what it should have. Its very existence drags down my overall rating of DH by several points. I'm still kind of pissed about MOLLY of all people killing Bellatrix, too.

One character you wish lived?
With the exception of Hedwig and Dobby, I was pretty indifferent to most of the deaths in the books, and/or found them necessary for Harry's journey. And even Hedwig and Dobby's deaths I found understandable/necessary in their own way. Once upon a time I would have said Lupin, but I was so "meh" to him by the time DH wrapped up that I didn't feel much more than a tiny pang for his loss. If I had to choose... Fred, probably.

(Adding this one) One character you wish had died?
Ginny. If we had to off a Weasley, I'd gladly have traded Fred for her.

Moment that will always make you cry?
I very seldom outright cry at books, but the moments that bring me closest: Neville getting tortured by Bellatrix in OotP (that upset me even more than Sirius dying); Hedwig's and Dobby's deaths; Harry's forest walk in DH.

Ron/Hermione or Harry/Hermione?
Taken on its own, Harry/Hermione, but I can handle Ron/Hermione in small doses or alongside Harry/Luna. Of the possible combos, I'd much rather have R/Hr + H/L than H/Hr + R/L, and definitely above R/Hr + H/G.

Which house would you want to be in?
Ravenclaw, yo! Barring that, Gryffindor in a pinch, I guess.

Would you ever enter the Triwizard tournament?
Hell no. Spectator all the way, dude. You never know when that Cup will be a death-bringing Portkey.

Do you think you would enjoy being a witch/wizard?
Don't saddle me with some world-saving destiny, and most likely yes.

This was fun. :) I'm tempted to modify it for SW and post that one...
