I do enjoy fixing my own food, but it can be quite time-consuming. I mean, you know, coming home from work and realizing, "Crap, now I have to make myself something to eat." Yeah. So I like both ways. x)
Oh, same here. That's why the most complex meal in my current meal plan is chicken-broccoli-rice casserole. ;)
There's going to be a lot of crock-potting involved: brown the roast/chicken before I leave for work, throw it in the pot and leave it simmering all day, come home to a hopefully tasty dinner. :P
They read my email Monday night. It surprises me it's taking this long to reply, considering the first email I ever sent them was answered just a few hours later.
Then again, our email system here at work was apparently pretty wonky yesterday, so maybe something happened there.
Complex #2 sounds like a dream. My husband and I moved into our apartment complex four months ago, and we went through a similar conflict. We ended up taking the more expensive apartment, and we've not regretted it once. Convenience is expensive, but most often worth it.
And good for you on trying to cook your own food! I'm having a similar debacle now; I've had my stomach's fill of Lean Cuisines. :D
LOL, same here. Though in my case it was Stouffers lasagnas and Marie Callender's pot pies. ;) I put together a chicken-broccoli-cheese-rice casserole last night, and YUM. :)
I really really want that place at complex #2, even though it'll be a pain in the ass to pay for. But they haven't contacted me yet on when the unit will be ready to look at - I know they got my email, but there's been no reply. *bites nails* Debating on calling today or tomorrow.
I'm utterly waiting on pins and needles for #2 to contact me on when the unit will be ready to look at - no reply on my email from two days ago; I'm debating calling today or tomorrow.
I just about had an aneurysm here at my desk when I looked at the syllabus for my humanities class. Weekly quizzes/discussion questions, several big exams, and a 12-15 page paper plus two 1-3 page critiques of other peers' papers. Meeble! This'll definitely be... interesting.

Still haven't heard back from #2 on when I can come look at the apartment; starting to get a little antsy... wonder if I should call.
