Crap.
So, it looks like it is a hardware issue. Staying up til 3:30 last night completely formatting my HD and re-installing Mac OS (after backing up my personal files on an external HD, of course) didn't work, nor does trying to hook up my laptop to Mom's DSL connection - I'm posting from her computer now - which I never have trouble getting online with.
Which means checking it in for repairs, and the warranty's long since expired.
Between this and laundry, studying hasn't happened either. I may just take a personal day off work Wednesday and cram like hell then. Even now, though, I'm already considering withdrawing from the class if things don't look like they're improving in the next few weeks - I'd much rather have a "W" on my transcript than another D or F.
Warranty-less computer repair, insurance-less eye doctor visit. Who needs money, anyway? ;)
