I didn't notice the cold shoulder. But she fell off the beam, too, so I'm sure she wasn't feeling too great. I was just kinda ticked off at the cameraman for being all up in her junk even though it was clear she could've used some alone time.
But yeah, the stepping out-of-bounds, wtf. I just hurt my hand slamming the table. :(
Maybe it's just me. But usually there seems to be some sort of quick hug or embrace after a routine. This time, the girl barely got a pat on the back and the coach barely even looked at her.
Oh, I was the same way with the cameraman. Dude, NBC, leave her the hell alone!
I'm not sure who that lady is, but she's not the head coach? I could be wrong about that. She's normally the only one I see giving them pats on the back or anything, really. I don't think she gave her a big hug or anything like that because she didn't want to make her feel worse.
Awww, I felt SO bad for Alicia after not only falling off the balance beam but also falling on her floor exercise. :( She definitely didn't need the cameras all up in her face like that.
China's win was awesome, though. Those girls did so great and they were so happy. :) It was also China's first women's gymnastics TEAM Gold ever, and that it was on their home turf is pretty fantastic.
Silver for the American women is still great, and they still have Gold opportunities for the individual all-around and single-apparatus events, which is good. It could have been MUCH worse; they could've been the Canadians! Heh. :p

Silver's certainly nothing to sneeze at. And I'm certainly happy for China getting their first gold for this event. :)
