Heh, I tend to get asked questions at work by fellow staff about whether or not I know about the new CW film. They see my framed pic of the RotS teaser poster on my desk and I think they're just trying to be nice in offering information, but sometimes, they come off with this attitude that seems to connote that they think they know something I don't. Almost like a, 'So you like SW? You do know about the new film, right?' o_O *laughs*

Hehe. I get the same thing from family members who inexplicably ask me, 'Hey, did you know a new Star Wars movie is coming out? And it's a cartoon?' When they KNOW that I already know (or at least should know it, at any rate). Hehe.

Oh, and thank you for posting the link to the extended battle clip. Definitely 'good times' to watch Anakin in action! :D

Isn't it? So glad we get to see more of the 'cunning warrior' in action. :D

I agree 100% with everything you said about TCW. And I think it really serves to push home the utter tragedy of RotS, to see more of Anakin during the time when he actually was a Jedi, actively out on the battlefield, etc.

That, yes - and just the sheer emotional battering he had to have experienced. Constantly being on the front lines, seeing and taking part in so much violence and death, and being forced apart from Padme so often... the Anakin of RotS is a much more withdrawn and tired character than TPM or AotC, and the war undoubtedly caused a huge deal of that.

Must watch when I get home.

LOL at your mom. My mom doesn't like SW but always passes articles my way or emails news on anything SW to me. But I have never gotten that reaction, like wanting to be notified about new SW stuff LOL

Yeah, that's been the extent of her involvement in the past - like when that "When Science Meets Imagination" exhibit came to Ft. Worth, she gave me a newspaper clipping about it.

I can just imagine trying to talk to her about this. "Hey, you know that one SW movie you never saw, and then the other one you didn't see? Well, this is set between those..." Heh.

LOL, yea that would be weird.

OMG! I just saw the scene and that was more than what I expected!
I am so excited now.

Oh the poor Clones though, they were getting blown like nobody's business :(

Isn't it just fantastic? One of the things I love about SW is that even in the bigass flashy action scenes you still get great character moments, like the speeder chase/arena fight in AotC and the opening battle in RotS, and this clip seems to hint that CW will continue in that vein. And yeah, you do feel kind of bad for the clones - they're being blown apart willy-nilly like disposable battle droids, which I suppose is the point. :(

And did you see the new A/P pics? :D

I was also impressed with the amount of detail I've seen so far in CW. The clip from the series (not the movie) shown at CC took place on a ship with designs very much like the interior of a Star Destroyer or the Death Star in Eps IV-VI.

*Rubs hands eagerly.*
