It's not even 9:00 and I'm ready to go home.
I'm not sure what frustrates me more - customers who get angry with you for not being omnipotent, or the people who continue to transfer those calls to you simply because they don't know where the fuck these customers actually need to be, or because they're too lazy to actually ask WHAT license the person wants. (Yesterday our upstairs sister office sent one of their licensees down to us - evidently when the guy just told them he wanted to renew his 'license,' whoever answered that call didn't even ask what type, and just shot him down to our office - and I just had to bounce him right back. WTF? That's probably THE single question I ask the most often - 'what type of license?' because we do several and almost no one ever bothers to specify on their own when they do call - but they couldn't be bothered to?)
Blargh.

To give this post maybe a little more 'purpose' - another meme-like thing, last snagged from lothi...

Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it.
